Ama's Picture Books

My grandmother recently left me her entire collection of picture books and children's literature. The entire collection is comprised of over 300 books. I am attempting to read as many as possible in 2014.

The Scroobious Pip

Scroobious Pip - Edward Lear, Ogden Nash, Nancy Ekholm Burkert

A funny nonsense poem (I would expect no less from Lear). Lear died before he finished it, so Ogden Nash filled in the blanks.

It's also from the 1960s, and Burkert's introduction laments that the Blue Whale might soon be extinct. It's still an endangered species, but it's not extinct yet.
