My grandmother recently left me her entire collection of picture books and children's literature. The entire collection is comprised of over 300 books. I am attempting to read as many as possible in 2014.

I love New Years. It's my favorite holiday, and I have always been a fan of this story (ew at Demi using the term "oriental" in the illustrator's note though).
I only wish the Japanese pronunciation of each kanji (and hiragana in one case) was included in the story, rather than just the English translations.
