Ama's Picture Books
My grandmother recently left me her entire collection of picture books and children's literature. The entire collection is comprised of over 300 books. I am attempting to read as many as possible in 2014.
China Tells How the World Began
This book also has the story of the zodiac animals in it (Why the Cat Hates the Rat). The stories are short, and I didn't read them aloud like the book instructs, but I enjoyed them both. I might try and check out more in this series.
