My grandmother recently left me her entire collection of picture books and children's literature. The entire collection is comprised of over 300 books. I am attempting to read as many as possible in 2014.
Suki's Kimono
written by Chieri Uegaki, illustrated by Stephane Jorisch
I enjoyed this story a lot. I like that Suki's heritage plays a part, but isn't a defining point to her character. It's a good story about being true to yourself.
