My grandmother recently left me her entire collection of picture books and children's literature. The entire collection is comprised of over 300 books. I am attempting to read as many as possible in 2014.
Brother Eagle, Sister Sky
Ugh. I only skimmed this book, but it looks super problematic. The first thing that jumped out at me was how the author talks about American Indians in the past tense.
Several problematic aspects of the book are discussed here if you're interested to learn more.
Definitely do not recommend. I need to figure out what I'm going to do with my copies (yes, copies. I own two copies of this book).
